T2 Build-Series #7

Hope you had a nice Christmas Holiday and did some T2 building!? Now it's back to the KEP's workshop and installing the transom hardware and glue in the cooling tube through the radio room.

K&S 1/8" brass tube is cut to length and the ends are bent slightly. See your full scale print-out of the main T2-21 pdf for reference.


The brass tube is cleaned and glued in place with epoxy glue mixed with some milled fiberglass.

This is what will be attached to the transom. Swedish made BB Hardware - very light! :)

Transfer the measurements to your transom and drill the holes. Use a small wood piece on the inside of the transom as to protect the inner carbon when the drill bit passes through...


We use stainless 4-40 screws and aluminum lock nuts for mounting the T-bracket and rudder to the transom.
